习近平总书记指出：“中华文明经历了5000多年的历史变迁，但始终一脉相承，积淀着中华民族深层的精神追求，代表着中华民族独特的精神标识，为中华民族生生不息、发展壮大提供了丰厚滋养。”
为更好展示中华文明风采，弘扬中华优秀传统文化，我们举办“中华瑰宝——中国非物质文化遗产和工艺美术展”。
中国非物质文化遗产浩若星海，这次展览撷取的是一部分具有文化光彩、艺术魅力、形式精致、易于陈列演示的内容，分为工艺美术、古琴艺术、传统乐器、传统戏曲、金石篆刻、木版年画、丝绸之路沿线壁画传摹、传统表演艺术这八个部分，力求以点带面，展示中国传统工艺美术和中国非物质文化遗产在坚守中华文化立场、传承中华文化基因、展现中华审美风范方面取得的巨大成就。
General Preface
As General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out， “Chinese civilization has undergone many historical changes for more than 5，000 years， but it still remains successive and coherent. It also embodies the nation’s deepest spiritual aspiration， stands for the nation’s unique identity， and nourishes the nation to live and grow.”
In order to better show Chinese civilization and promote fine Chinese traditional culture， we hold the “Treasures of China - An Exhibition of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage and Arts and Crafts”.
Chinas intangible cultural heritage is too vast to be described. The exhibition “Treasures of China” selects those works with exquisite forms. They are culturally glorious， artistically attractive and easy to display. The exhibition is separated into eight parts: arts and crafts， guqin art， traditional musical instruments， traditional opera， inscription and seal cutting， woodblock New Year paintings， copies of Silk Road murals， and traditional performing arts. It comprehensively summarizes not only the great achievements of Chinese traditional arts and crafts but also Chinese intangible cultural heritage in adhering to the standpoint of Chinese culture， inheriting Chinese cultural genes， and displaying Chinese aesthetic style.
