內容試閱:
“Engineering Measurement and Signal Processing” is an important foundational course for graduate students majoring in mechanical manufacturing and automation. The related technologies are widely applied in various fields of the national economy and everyday life. Testing technology and information technology are experiencing swift development and continual updates. With the rapid advancements in information technology and sensing technology, a large number of advanced measurement technology theories and technical materials have emerged through networks, journals, and other channels, posing higher requirements for the teaching of this course.
To enable students to better grasp the relevant knowledge of this course and the latest developments in testing technology, improve their professional English application skills, cultivate their international perspective, and better participate in international exchanges, it is imperative to explore the practice of teaching this course entirely in English at universities. The current “Belt and Road” initiative presents unprecedented opportunities and challenges for the internationalization of higher education institutions. To attract highquality students from the “Belt and Road” regions, optimize the structure of international students, expand the scale of international graduate students studying in China, and enhance the international education level, constructing allEnglishtaught majors and course systems and enhancing the international influence of Chinese education is an important approach. For this purpose, this book has been compiled with consideration for the existing teaching syllabus, the students professional knowledge and English proficiency, and our research achievements in mechanical engineering testing, signal analysis, and fault diagnosis. The aim is to create an allEnglish textbook that is wellsuited to the teaching content.
This book combines basic theory with engineering applications. The primary readers are foreign graduate students studying mechanical engineering in China. It is also suitable as a reference book for teaching related majors such as mechatronics and instrumentation in higher education institutions, as a book for undergraduate students in mechanical engineering to improve their skills, and as an English textbook or reference book for Chinese graduate students.
In the writing process of this book, I was responsible for the overall drafting and writing, while colleagues Wu Zaixin and Peng Bin provided valuable suggestions and help for the reform of this course and the compilation of teaching materials. Graduate students Liang Chengyu, Li Yinping, Huang Chengdong, Feng Zhiguo, Dang Xu, Ma Dequan, Da Wenjie, and Wu Yimin did a lot of work in the experimental research and proofreading of the manuscript.
We sincerely thank the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (project numbers: 52265034, 51665035, 51265027), The National Scholarship Fund Committee Young Backbone Teacher Overseas Study Program, and the Lanzhou University of Technology International Student (Graduate) AllEnglishTaught Course Construction Project. We also appreciate the strong support and help from Zhuang Hongquan, Vice President of Tsinghua University Press, and editor Miao Qingbo.
Due to my limited ability, errors and deficiencies in the book are inevitable. I earnestly request colleagues and readers to offer criticism and corrections, and kindly impart your wisdom.
