Working with certificates for special operations is a mandatory requirement of The Production Safety Law of the People′s Republic of China, the Regulations on the Administration of Safety Technology Training and Assessment for Special Operation Personnel (Order No. 30 of the State Administration of Work Safety) and other local laws and regulations, which is related to safe production and the safety of the national economy and people′s lives and property.
The Low-voltage Electrician Certificate is one of the most widely used and representative one, but it currently has the following problems:
① Although there are hundreds of thousands of foreign employees in China, there are many deficiencies and blanks in relevant training and certification, one of which is the lack of textbooks;
② With the new Vocational Education Law of the People′s Republic of China as the prelude, the reform of vocational education in the new era would go overseas: the recruitment and training of foreign students in vocational education has been in full swing, but the teaching materials are almost blank;
③ The anti-globalization originated by the west would accelerate the ″going overseas″ of China′s industry and production capacity, especially for BRI countries, which would inevitably be accompanied by the ″going overseas″ of technology and standards, but the relevant carrier medias are extremely limited or even blank.
Therefore, the translating team hopes to help solve the above problems through the publishing of this book.
The translation of this book has received strong support from all parties: Prof. Qingde Yang, the chief editor of the Chinese version, has made a decision to support this job from stranger to full support through a 5-minute phone call, and has provided countless direct and comprehensive help throughout the translation process. After knowing that the funds were limited, Prof. Yang and his team immediately decided to waive the copyright fee. Their noble character and integrity contributed to the publication of the book; Mr. Gang Li, secretary of the Automobile Engineering School of Beijing Polytechnic, and Mr. Weijie Gou, director of the Automobile Manufacturing Technology Department of the same college, provided support in the whole process from project approval, funds, and until solving other difficulties in the process, making the publication of the book possible; Ms. Na Yu, the senior manager of the training department of Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd., immediately provided various supports and volunteered to become a member of the translating team after knowing this job, sharing a lot of translation and proofreading work. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the numerous leaders, colleagues and friends who have given us help.
The translation and publishing time of the book is extremely tight, and the translating members have their own main jobs, all the jobs are completed in spare time, which is very heavy and urgent even if they are full-time. Here, I also pay high tribute to the members of the translating team.
Due to the limited capability of translation and the limited time, it is inevitable that there will be some mistakes or omissions. We hope our potential readers could give us your advice (qinhe848@163.com), with a view to revising it when it is republished.
