Zhu Yongxin, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of China Association for the Promotion of Democracy, Member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People‘s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), doctoral supervisor and adjunct professor of Peking University, Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University and Tongji University, has published several works including Zhu Yongxin’s Educational Works (16 volumes), To Teachers, Future Schools, etc. Some of his works have been translated into English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Mongolian, Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic, Kazak and other languages. As Editor-in-chief, he has published more than 30 book series as Contemporary Japanese Education Series, New Century Educational Library, and New Educational Library, etc.
Xiang Xianming, professor of School of Education Science in Nanjing Normal University, Dean of the Institute of Educational Theory and Policy, Chief expert and chief editor of Principles of Pedagogy——a key textbook of Marxist theory research and construction project of the Ministry of Education, is mainly engaged in the research on basic theory of education, comparative education and educational policy. He has published a number of books, such as Pan Education and Comparative Education.

Looking back over the past more than 70 years, China’s education has undergone tremendous changes and made great achievements. Looking ahead, China’s education still has a long way to go.
