Unit One Color Psychology
In this unit, you will
? take a glimpse into the field of color psychology;
? compare generic features of research news (RN) and research articles (RAs);
? learn the overall generic structure of an RA and some formulaic expressions commonly used in an RA;
? learn stylistic features of academic writing;
? accumulate general academic words and discipline-specific words;
? analyze the generic structure or stylistic features of the RAs in your own field or write your own research proposal;
? make an oral presentation of your analysis of the RAs or your own research proposal.
Warm-up
