PrefaceThere are at least three main highlights in "New Economic Engine—Effective Government and EfficientMarket":1. Breaking through the limitations of the mainstream western economics system and the market theoryframework. The book is divided into nine chapters and one annex. The first chapter looks at how Adam Smith’sthird book attempts to analyze the behavior of government, and explore the roles and functionsgovernments should play. The second chapter reveals that Keynes did not explain why nationalgovernments should participate, or even be the main entity in promoting infrastructure investment, nevertheless, hastily launched a series of measures for government to intervene in effective demand. The third chapter explicitly states that "resource generation" research is completely void incurrent mainstream economic theory. The fourth chapter points out that the government is acompetitive entity in the field of "newly generated resources". The fifth chapter describes thegovernment competition in its broad and narrow sense. The sixth chapter describes the three levelsof efficient market. The seventh chapter describes three levels of performance for an effectivegovernment. The eighth chapter expresses the view that there are nine modes of choices for effectiveintegration between an effective government and efficient market.
