《全球重要农业文化遗产童话绘本》是以联合国粮农组织（FAO）认定的全球重要农业文化遗产（GIAHS）为题材，专门为3-8岁幼儿创作的童话故事绘本。《小红米漂流记》介绍了云南红河哈尼稻作梯田系统，在娓娓道来的童话故事中，将中国传统农耕文化中的价值精髓、中国生态文明建设所取得的经验传达给海内外小读者。
Aimed at children at the age of three to eight, Picturebook about Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems introduces Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems GIAHS which is launched by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations FAO. The Adventure of Little Red Rice introduces Honghe Hani Rice Terraces in Yunnan Province, China. With interesting and vivid words, this book tells little readers both at home and abroad about the value and spirit of traditional Chinese farming culture, as well as the experience China has acquired during its ecological civilization construction.

《全球重要农业文化遗产童话绘本》创作团队主要来自中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所自然与文化遗产中心，是中国最早参与农业文化遗产保护与管理的科研力量，完成了中国15项全球重要农业文化遗产的申报工作，与农业部国合司及科教司、其他国家尤其是东亚国家农业文化遗产管理及研究部门都有着密切合作。作者孙业红博士，中国农学会农业文化遗产分会副秘书长；焦雯珺博士，东亚地区农业文化遗产研究会（ERAHS）轮值秘书长。
