《中国教育制度沿革史》为著名教育学家、东南大学校长郭秉文先生的英文博士论文,《中国教育制度沿革史》共分八编,涉及上古教育制度的起源、上古教育制度及其退化、汉以后各朝教育的沿革、新旧教育的过渡时代、民国时代所建的新教育等,系统介绍了中国教育制度的沿革与影响。
關於作者:
郭秉文1880—1969,字鸿声,江苏江浦人, 1908年赴美留学,1914年获哥伦比亚大学教育学博士学位;先后任南京高等师范学校教务主任、校长和东南大学校长。他是在国际舞台上最为活跃的中国教育家。
