Asthefastgrowthofoutboundtourismmarketandinboundtourismmarkettendtobestable,Chinatourismindustry,previouslyamajorforeignexchangeearner,hasincreasinglybecomeakeysectorofthetradedeficitgeneratedbyinternationaltradedservice.Intermsofinternationaltradedservice,theadversetradebalanceof2009-2011intotalwasUSD37.2billion,anditpossiblyreachedUSD49.7billionin2012.So,itiswisertohaveaholisticviewoftheon-goingrapidlyenlarginggapasaprogressivetendency.Asthecountryisgrowingricher,andtheregionalpopulationdensitytendstoincreaseinthecourseofthethreeindustrialevolutions,theindustrywasevenmorelikelytobetransformedfromaforeignexchangeearnerintoaspender.The2011adversetradebalanceofGermanyregisteredUSD45.4billioninitsinternationaltradedservice;theadvancedeconomiesandemergingeconomiesliketheUK,Japan,RussiaandBrazilalsogeneratedalargetradedeficitintheirinternationaltourismreceiptsandexpenditures.Meanwhile,ithasalsoworkedasaneffectivewayofreducingChina''shugeinternationaltradesurplusandeasedtradefrictionswithmajortradingpartners.Thegoodwill,indicativeofthefastgrowthofChinaoutboundtourismwouldtheneventuallycreatebetterexternalenvironmentsforitsinboundtourismdevelopment.CountriesandregionssuchastheEuropeanUnionandtheUnitedStates,JapanandHongKongarenotonlytheleadingChineseexportmarketsfortradeingoods,butalsothemaintraveldestinationsforChina''sinternationaltourism.
