Formerly a staff editor at Pittsburgh City Paper, Dan’s work has appeared in nearly every Pittsburgh area publication, as well as numerous national and international publications. He is also the founding editor of Young Pioneers, a magazine about independent travel culture that was nominated for an Independent Press Award by Utne Reader. In Pittsburgh, he did time as a taxi driver, a dishwasher, and a telemarketer. Dan currently lives in Philadelphia.
